Researchers will talk about the goals and the milestones of their projects, and how they contributed to the development of the SPHN infrastructure. They will also address achievements, challenges and emerging research opportunities.

SPHN Review Meeting 2019 - 5-6 September 2019

On 5 and 6 September 2019, the SPHN Review Meeting 2019 was held at the Kollegienhaus in Basel. The Meeting offered a platform to present the current state of the initiative, its core activities and allowed to share insight and knowhow gained during the advancements of the projects and works started in 2018. At the same time, the meeting provided an opportunity for the IAB to review the initiative as a whole.

Comment l'intelligence artificielle va-t-elle bouleverser la médecine ? - 7 October 2018

Together with SAMS and in partnership with SATW, this event was organised at the Salon Planète Santé Live in Geneva on 7 October 2018. 


After a short introduction, the opportunity was given to experts and to the public to speak and debate about issues and concerns regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence in medicine.

4th ESPT Summer School supported by SPHN - 24-27 September 2018

A 4-day Summer School was co-organized by the European Society for Pharmacogenomics and Personalised Therapy (ESPT) and the Swiss Personalized Health Network (SPHN) at the Campus Biotech in Geneva.


This event gave opportunity to 80 participants from 26 different countries to follow a comprehensive educational program consisting of 40 lectures in the multidisciplinary field of pharmacogenomics and personalized therapy.

Call for proposals 2018: Q&A Session - 13 April 2018

Following the launch of the second coordinated call for proposals, PHRT and SPHN organised a Q&A Session on Friday 13 April 2018 in Bern.


The session was followed by an apéritif to give the opportunity to potential applicants to network and to find potential partners who would be interested in creating a consortium in order to apply to the call for proposals.

1st Joint Personalized Health Day - 23 March 2018

On 23 March 2018, the 1st Joint Personalized Health Day Switzerland was held at the Centre Paul Klee. This event was co-organized by PHRT and SPHN and aimed at presenting the two initiatives, as well as the perspectives of different stakeholders, e. g. patients and public authorities. In the afternoon session, a selection of projects awarded in the frame of the first call for proposals were presented.
